Melbourne restaurant chain The Pancake Parlour has simplified reporting, business analysis and ease-of-use since Evolution Business Systems (EBS) upgraded its financial management system.
The 50-year-old company, which operates 12 restaurants throughout Melbourne, recognised in 2012 that its ageing business management system was holding back its growth plans.
Simple tasks, like exporting data from the system into a spreadsheet, were not possible, preventing the company from undertaking deeper analysis of its everyday business data. Also, each time The Pancake Parlour opened a new restaurant, it had to pay thousands of dollars to commission new consolidated financial reports incorporating its latest outlet.
Award-winning ERP specialist Evolution Business Systems (EBS) has undergone a dramatic transformation since it collected its first Australian Achiever Award six years ago.
EBS scored a 98.73 per cent customer satisfaction rating in this year’s awards. The Melbourne-based company has always secured a customer satisfaction rating of more than 90 per cent since receiving its first Australian Achiever Award in 2010.
Founder and managing director Paul Woods said EBS was a radically different company to what it had been in 2010. “It has changed completely,” he said.
Enterprise software specialist EBS (Evolution Business Systems) today announces that its ebs-plus add-on for Microsoft Dynamics NAV has passed the Microsoft Software Solution Test milestone.
For Melbourne-based EBS, the achievement represents an important feather in its cap. The Software Solution Test for Microsoft Dynamics is a major requirement for Certified for Microsoft Dynamics status, demonstrating development quality and compatibility with the Microsoft Dynamics product.
EBS developed ebs-plus to deliver extra functionality for Microsoft Dynamics NAV including ‘localisations’ specific to the Australian market such as bank reconciliation, mapped templates and pre-configured forms. By providing out-of-the-box functionality, tools and set-up, ebs-plus ensures customers get more from their NAV system, maximise the benefits of the implementation process and obtain better value for money.
ASX-listed company Greencap has gained real-time reporting across its multinational operations while saving more than $130,000 a year since it installed Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Deployed by Melbourne-based Evolution Business Systems (EBS), Microsoft Dynamics NAV lets Greencap run organisation-wide reports in seconds on critical issues such as resource utilisation, project profitability and financial performance. Previously, compiling monthly board reports across the company could consume more than 30 days of productive time.
Greencap Ltd provides risk management services in every state of Australia and in South East Asia. With more than 400 professional, technical and engineering staff located in 16 offices, the group services more than 5000 business and government entities in the education, property, resources, industrial, manufacturing, retail and services sectors.
